Ergotelis’ teenage striker Nikos Karelis is thrilled with the opportunity of a trial with Arsene Wenger’s Arsenal.

The 16-year-old Greek has been reportedly invited to take part in a trial and a mini-tournament after the Gunners scouts were impressed by his performances that have seen Karelis becoming the youngest player to play in a Greek Super League game when facing Zanthi at the weekend.

”I know that it will be very difficult to start with but I am going there to succeed,” Karelis told Sports 24.

”Even if I don’t make it, I think I’ll gain lots of useful experience that will help me improve in the future.”
