My greatest ever Arsenal game: Arsenal 2 Everton 2

I have enjoyed many an Arsenal game, but this one had one moment which was utterly wonderful. Rosicky had scored in front of us, the final whistle had gone, and we stood to leave block 99. I got to the stairway and as is my wont, allowed others to pass before Jane and I could step into [...]

Arsenal 2 v 2 Everton

Ultimately we end today disappointed. This in affect was our game in hand and we dropped 2 points. The snow and the ref didn’t help but at the end of the day, whatever the reasons, we have 1 point and not 3. Fellaini is a different player from the one that landed on these shores. He’s [...]

“We were closer to losing the game than winning it”

I had implored the spirit of Marvin Gaye in the preview, ‘Let’s get it on’. By the end though the soundtrack had changed to something decidedly rocky. Report: Arsenal 2-2 Everton

A pulsating affair meant Arsenal had to come from behind twice to manage a draw against Everton today. Leon Osman was left free to head in Donovan’s corner and put the visitors ahead after just 11 minutes. From hero to zero?

I'll be honest with you, but hearing the news of Patrick Vieira's signing for Manchester City, and worse, seeing him parade his new side's strip, I was filled with a deep sense of disappointment. A sense that our former Club Captain had obviously shed all the past moments of toiling, success, and glory, with the team and manager that refined him into the superstar he is today.
