Next season starts off well - to hell with stats
Some fans wondered why Wenger didn't start more of his youngsters. Fair enough there wasn't that much riding on the game for this season, but for next season it will count for a lot. Indeed a defeat at Sunderland would have left the club and fans on a real downer, and no remedy for a 100 days. Imagine the fun the press would have had with Arsene's flops.
